IEC 60335-2-30 Room Heater Test Corner for Surface Temperature Rise Test
The IEC 60335-2-30 Test Corner is a specialized testing structure designed to evaluate the surface temperature rise of electric room heaters during heating tests. The equipment is manufactured in strict accordance with Clause 11.2 and Figure 103 of IEC 60335-2-30 (2009 + A1:2016 + A2:2021).
This test corner simulates the corner environment of a room, allowing laboratories and manufacturers to measure the temperature rise on surrounding walls and floor surfaces when heaters operate under normal conditions. It is widely used for safety compliance testing of household heating appliances, including convection heaters, fan heaters, panel heaters, and radiant heaters.
The structure is made of high-quality plywood painted in dull black, which minimizes reflection and ensures accurate heat absorption during testing. The evenly distributed drilled holes allow for flexible thermocouple placement, enabling precise temperature monitoring across the test surfaces.

The test corner is mainly used in safety testing laboratories, appliance manufacturers, and certification bodies to verify compliance with international standards.
