The Cookware Impact Strength Test Apparatus is designed to evaluate the mechanical durability and impact resistance of cookware handles, knobs, and lids under controlled conditions.
This equipment strictly complies with TZS 683/2022 Annex C, ensuring accurate and repeatable testing for product safety and quality verification. Using a vertical drop impact method, the apparatus simulates real-life impact scenarios to determine whether cookware components can withstand mechanical stress without failure.

A hemispherical steel striker is lifted to a specified height and released vertically to impact the test sample. The cookware is fixed securely on a rigid base with impact applied at different orientations:
